PSA Sines (also known as Sines Container Terminal), is situated about 150 kilometres South of Lisbon in Portugal and has come a long way since commencing operations in 2004. Free of urban congestion but well connected by both road and rail to the main hinterland, the terminal sits on the cross-roads of two major shipping routes. With PSA Sines fast becoming the preferred Atlantic gateway for Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula, expansion plans are already underway to increase the handling capacity of the port by 25%.
